Bailey Glasser LLP, a national law firm engaged in high-level real estate and corporate matters, seeks a paralegal for its headquarters in Charleston, WV, or its Morgantown, WV office. Interested candidates must have a minimum of 5 years’ general real estate and corporate experience and be able to abstract a title effectively and efficiently. The firm seeks a team player with excellent written, oral, and technical skills (i.e., computer and common software applications). This paralegal role is an important office position responsible for providing both legal and administrative support to their attorneys. Bailey Glasser relies heavily on its paralegals to keep things running smoothly. Duties would include typing and editing documents, abstracting title, preparing closing statements and closing documents, assisting with transactional matters, preparation for closings, correspondence, filing, handling certain telephone calls, scheduling, time and record keeping, arranging travel and meetings, coordinating mailings, and working on special projects. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diverse and exciting workload. Candidates with experience working on transactions from inception through closing are encouraged to apply.
