What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift-Warehouse Assistant position at Bailey Manufacturing Co., LLC.?
Minimum 1 year experience in a warehouse/shipping environment and
experience operating a forklift; Good organizational skills; Ability to work
with minimal supervision; Ability to follow instructions and be safety
conscious; Requires the ability to lift 30 lbs. or greater
Receives materials for production and moves via forklift or overhead crane
using appropriate safety precautions; Transports product inventory via
forklift based on “First-In, First-Out” (FIFO) concept; Maintains organization
of material and inventory lots; Empties product scrap bins; Assists press set
up operators with changing out coils of metal on stamping presses; Handles
any paperwork required by Production and Quality Control; Assists shipping
department with container and part rotation; responsible for breaking up and
disposal of wood pallets; responsible for proper disposal of plant garbage;
flexibility in assisting other departments when necessary. Other duties as assigned.
