SHIFT: MONDAY-FRIDAY 11:00PM - 7:00AM
Job Description: We are urgently hiring for Shop Hands to assist in the assembly of layflat hoses at our manufacturing plant. Will be assembling, pressure testing, and inspecting layflat hoses to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. The ideal candidate will be versatile, reliable, and willing to learn. This role is crucial in supporting the smooth operation of our production processes and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the testing of layflat hoses
- Operate basic hand tools and machinery under supervision.
- Help in cutting, fitting, and assembling hose components.
- Inspect hoses and fittings for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop area.
- Support team members in various tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina and overall fitness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift and move 20 to 80 pounds.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
