Emissions Analyst/Stack Tester
Bartley Air Integrity Resources (BAIR) has conducted Air Quality Consulting and Services since 1995. Although we have historically had a presence in both the Air Quality and Department of Transportation (DOT) of natural gas pipeline operations, we have refocused on our core competencies of Air Integrity. Along the way, we’ve aligned with developers of technologically superior analytical equipment, as well as, some of the best known subject matter experts in the field of stack gas analysis.
We are looking for an Emissions Analyst for the Permian and Delaware Basins in West Texas and East New Mexico area. Work area will primarily cover those areas, but travel to other regions (South TX, TX and OK Panhandles, DFW) will occasionally occur.
Potential candidate responsibilities will consist of:
- Assistance with stack testing on various sources
- Assistance to field emission analysts in analytical equipment set-up, calibrations, and data collection
- Project bidding, scheduling, and planning for site specific test
- Preparing written test notifications to state and federal agencies
- Technical writing along with data compilation, reduction, interpretation, evaluation/comparison to environmental regulatory standards (i.e. NAAQS, NESHAP, state permits)
Skills, Competencies, Qualifications:
- High School degree and technical school training or mechanical training
- Experience in regulatory compliance issues is preferred
- Must have strong computer/technical and mechanical/electrical skills
- Must have strong technical writing skills, problem solving capabilities, and creative “out-of-the-box” thinking
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills is a must
- Must be willing to travel and mobilize lab equipment to various testing regions
- Must be physically capable of moving/lifting lab equipment/calibration gases up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to be legally employed full-time in the United States
