About The Position
Our Middle Office associates provide support to Trust Administration in regard to account opening and closing processes. They also act as a liaison, facilitating asset movement between our custodian, internal Operations and outside organizations. As a Trust Associate in the Middle Office, you will provide account opening, account closing, asset movement, and cost adjustment support to Trust Associates and Trust Officers. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the financial industry, be highly proficient with Excel, and provide excellent service to internal and external clients.

As a Trust Middle Office Associate, You Will
- Support Trust Administration team with account establishment and termination processes.
- Assist with cost basis information research and data gathering to accurately reflect system cost basis.
- Responsible for the transfer of securities and cash, both internally and externally.
- Assist with the fee process through all stages, including establishing initial fee, ongoing coding, and final fee processing.
- Assist Trust Administration team with organizing, maintaining and uploading account documentation in our electronic storage system, including physical filing of original legal documents.
- Prepare reports as needed and ensure the data is appropriately distributed. Research, gather, and compile data and information from a variety of sources.
- Prepare distribution schedules utilizing Microsoft Excel for asset distribution in the account termination process.
- Provide flexible, friendly and proactive service to clients, both internal and external.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in the financial or securities-related industry.
- Familiarity with trust and estate documents.
- Understanding of financial industry concepts.
- Experience with financial or trust accounting systems a plus, but not required.
- Detail oriented; ability to work with numbers and large volumes of data with accuracy and speed.
- Superior customer service.
