As our Copywriter, you’ll be the voice behind every customer-facing touchpoint, crafting compelling, on-brand messaging that connects with our audience. From website content and email marketing to product descriptions and packaging copy, your words will shape the Baked by Melissa experience. You’ll collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure our brand voice is consistent, engaging, and aligned with our fun yet premium identity - making every bite (and every word) count.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute engaging, customer-centric copy across all brand channels, including website, email, SMS, social media, advertising, and packaging.
- Maintain and refine Baked by Melissa’s unique brand voice, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Write product descriptions that highlight the magic of our bite-size treats and drive conversion.
- Craft compelling subject lines, CTAs, and email body copy that maximize engagement and sales.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaign messaging that resonates with our audience.
- Optimize copy for SEO and digital best practices to drive organic traffic and improve discoverability.
- Monitor customer feedback and industry trends to refine messaging strategies and enhance customer experience.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand alignment.

Qualifications
- 2-5 years of copywriting experience in e-commerce, food & beverage, or lifestyle brands.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong portfolio of work.
- Experience writing for digital channels, including email marketing, social media, and web.
- Knowledge of SEO and email best practices and how to write copy that drives engagement and conversion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., Klaviyo), CMS platforms, and social media trends is a plus.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
