PURPOSE
The Financial Analyst will contribute to financial strategy by analyzing data, enhancing processes, and improving reporting. This position will collaborate with the Finance Operations Lead to deliver insights that support informed decision-making and long-term financial objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Analyze financial data to spot trends and help predict future outcomes.
- Assist in presenting financial data in meaningful and understandable ways to non-financial users.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within accounting and finance functions.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Generate financial metrics, analyze KPI trends, and report benchmarking data to support decision-making.
- Leverage AI-driven tools to enhance data analysis, process automation, financial forecasting, and reporting optimization.
- Provide financial analysis to stakeholders.
- Participate in construction financial literacy education for non-financial employees.
- Work with external auditors and provide needed information for year-end audits.
- Work with external tax preparers and provide needed information for tax returns.
- Assist with Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) reporting, providing necessary financial information to meet compliance requirements.
- Participate in the annual budget and forecasting process.
- Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
- Minimum of two years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related field.
- Preferred Experience with database and analytic tools such as SQL and Microsoft Fabric (F.K.A. PowerBI)
- PowerApps & SharePoint or similar PaaS experience preferred
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred
MENTAL AND PHYSICAL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Detail oriented, ability to prioritize responsibilities with minimal oversight while working as a collaborative team player.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally
- May have occasional visits to a job site which would require periods of standing, walking and/or climbing stairs
