The role of Procurement Specialist is based at Nove Mesto nad Vahom site. The focus of the role is to manage the buying process for a given set of goods, apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity - all with the respect to specifications and budgets.

As a Procurement Specialist you will need to understand concepts, methods, procedures and approaches. Your will be responsible for:
- Qualifying new suppliers and maintaining an up-to-date central supplier database (HICX).
- Placing and follow-up on Purchase Orders (POs).
- Managing relationships with suppliers for PO execution, managing problems and scheduling changes. Updating Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
- Drafting and negotiating supply contracts, liaising with suppliers to obtain competitive quotations, and evaluating them effectively.
- Engaging in both strategic and operational procurement activities.
- Participating in supplier audits to ensure compliance and quality standards.
- Generating comprehensive reports and utilizing ERP systems for efficient procurement management (Thoughtspot, SAP).
- Elaborating proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field.
- Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
- Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and internal organizational directives.
- Implementing new tools and principles derived from global strategic sourcing strategies.
- Executing strategies for assigned commodities and suppliers to optimize procurement processes and outcomes.
- Contributing to project as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months
Fuel your passion
This role will be dynamic and collaborative. To be successful, you will need to have:
- At least 4 years experience in procurement
- Good level of English
- German verbal and written level at A2 / B1
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- An eye for detail to drive effective procurement practices and support organizational objectives.
