The Cheniere Area Manager will be responsible for Project Management/ Planning/ Coordinating activities typically in the context of a production or services project to fulfill a customer order or need according to financial/commercial parameters and ensuring customer satisfaction.
As the Area Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all contract performance related activities , typically tied to a customer site.
- Performing in the role as the interface between the customer and the project team, managing the transfer of information and requests.
- Assuring timely resolution of issues and keep the customer advised of the progress of the project, and negotiate changes and variations and solutions to any issue arising.
- Adhering to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as financial & technical metrics specific to contract.
- Performing proposal negotiation, and contract administration functions on assigned proposals / contracts with minimal supervision.
- Providing support to manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts Function as the liaison for the customer on contract matters
- Presenting to top leadership in the business solutions (SEB, sr. VP) on technical discipline and business solutions. Works with cross business teams.
- Handling very complex project processes inherent technical variety, interdependency of production cycles, required technical know-how, value of assets or scale of production.
- Engaging in complex long-term processes with important clients
- Preparing required documentation for moving and transportation of parts and tools from manufacturing facilities or Authorized Repair Facilities or warehouse to site, and vice versa

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related areas, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 yrs of experience in contract performance management or operations within Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
- Knowledge of contractual agreements and familiarity with customer base.
- Proficiency in Oracle, ERP systems and excellent domain of Excel.
- Be proactive, responsible, and capable to manage an extensive portfolio
- Capable to balance customer/business needs and to prioritize accordingly.
- Ability to work at the Cheniere site which is located at the Sabine Pass LNG site as needed.
