Purpose

Job Description (duties And Responsibilities)
- Achieve targets set for revenue, profit and sales growth
- Actively manage and grow existing $15 Million portfolio
- Manage end user accounts (direct or through distribution)
- Responsible for retention and growth of existing business; acquisition/expansion into new products or new solutions
- Develop & manage strategic business relationships in all accounts within portfolio at a corporate level and across various local sites
- Build and deliver the Harris Value Proposition to accounts within portfolio
- Provide end-user training support and promote all Harris products with a special focus on Braze Training and Gas Apparatus Safety
- Continuing to develop skills needed to lead complex business negotiations
- Works with cross-functional internal team for new product or service solutions for end users within portfolio
- Collaborate with other team members to grow and acquire new business
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering strongly preferred; ten years industry experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of three years of experience as a Harris Products Group Technical Sales Representative or similar Harris Products Group or Lincoln Electric position. (Internal Only.)
- Above-average sales performance over the last three years.
- Self-motivated, aggressive, and strong record of making principal based business decisions with the ability to work independently.
- Continuing to build knowledge of financials, products/services, the market or account needs
- Willingness and ability to travel a minimum of two weeks per month
- Ability & willingness to travel throughout North America
- Selected candidate’s Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based upon qualifications and experience.
