We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Operations & Payroll Associate to provide key support in payroll processing, HR administration, employee engagement activities, and compliance. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2-3 years of experience in multi-state payroll, tax compliance, and HR operations to contribute to a fast-paced environment and grow within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:Payroll & Tax Compliance:
- Assist with bi-monthly payroll processing, including employee bonuses, ensuring accuracy in timekeeping, deductions, and tax filings.
- Support payroll tax filings, including out-of-state tax withholdings and unemployment quarterly reports.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and assist with payroll audits.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits deductions, and payroll policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
HR Operations Support:
- Assist with new hire onboarding, including documentation, HRIS updates, and payroll setup.
- Maintain and update employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.
- Help coordinate and implement employee engagement activities and HR initiatives to support a positive workplace culture.
- Help with offer letters, employment agreements, and new hire paperwork.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, HR administration, or a related role.
- Familiarity with payroll systems (e.g., Payentry) and HRIS.
- Experience with multi-state payroll, tax withholdings, and unemployment reporting.
- Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax compliance, and HR regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Salary : $65,000 - $72,000
