Baker, Manock & Jensen PC, a full -service AV-rated law firm in Fresno, CA, seeks a full-time Trusts and Estates Legal Secretary to support the firm's various business-related matters, with a particular focus on trusts and estates matters. This position is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your multi-tasking skills in a hands-on role working collaboratively with the firm's clients and employees.
Essential Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Managing attorneys' calendars, dockets, and appointments;
- Preparing documents for attorney review, including correspondence, estate planning documents, and other legal proceedings;
- Maintaining client files in accordance with Firm guidelines;
- Professionally communicating with clients verbally and in writing.
The desired candidate will possess these qualifications:
- Team Player
- Five years of legal secretarial experience in estate planning and/or probate matters;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail;
- Maintain strict confidentiality;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook;
- Notary Public Certification preferred.
