POSITION INFORMATION

• Baker School District is currently seeking candidates for four Temporary Seasonal Custodian I positions.
• Duration: June 16, 2024 through August 22, 2024.

POSITION OVERVIEW

• Responsible for cleaning and maintaining district facilities and grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. Work in cooperation with other maintenance and custodial staff to maintain facilities and equipment in proper working order throughout the district.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain the building, equipment, and grounds in a neat and clean manner, complete minor repairs as required, rearrange furnature as instructed, repaint walls, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Perform custodial duties.
• Regularly clean and decontaminate building, equipment, and work areas after contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials to help prevent blood borne pathogens.
• Paint and touch up district buildings as assigned.
• Prepare rooms for various functions in the building, maintaining building security.
• Direct all maintenance requests to appropriate supervisor and ensure that related repairs are completed in a timely manner.
• Regularly inspect facilities for normal wear and tear, vandalism, safety hazards, etc.
• Comply with all applicable district, state, and federal policies and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
