What you will do:

The Senior Associate will handle accounting matters for various Real Estate assets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare or review financial statements, including footnote disclosures, while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and, if applicable, SEC requirements

• Assist clients with SEC Reporting, including the preparation and filing of 10-Q, 10-K and other SEC filings

• Consult on technical accounting matters, including the adoption of new accounting standards, and prepare technical accounting memos to ensure proper accounting treatment and financial statement presentation

• Assist with research, and interpretation of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements on accounting issues and new accounting guidance

• Play a key role in accounting close processes, especially in complex accounting areas, including reviewing and analyzing accounting entries and reconciliations.

• Support month-end close and financial statement review

• Assist clients with external audits

• Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs

• Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and with your clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting finance, business administration or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, audit experience with a public accounting firm is preferred

• Experience with real estate preferred

• Proven ability to management multiple engagements and prioritize assignments

• Proficient with Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in U.S. GAAP

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail

• Effective verbal and written communication, collaboration and time management skills

• Proactive and self-motivated and able to work independently

• Eligibility to work in the U.S., without sponsorship, highly preferred

The compensation range for this role is $70,610 to $124,660. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location
