What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2026 2L Summer Associate - Cleveland position at BakerHostetler?
BakerHostetler is seeking rising 2L students (Class of 2027) to join our Firm's 2026 Summer Associate Program in Cleveland.
BakerHostetler’s summer program is designed to give law students exposure to many facets of the firm’s practice. Summer Associates attend Firmwide Summer Training Programs with a robust curriculum where they have the opportunity to interact with other Summer Associates across the firm. Additionally, in their local offices, they participate in conferences, practice group sessions, depositions, trials, and other court proceedings, labor arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and business transaction closings. We closely monitor work assignments to ensure that Summer Associates work on multiple projects with a variety of lawyers in different practice areas.

- Will have completed 2 years of law school prior to the 2026 Summer Program
- High levels of initiative and motivation
