Our Litigation Support department has an excellent opportunity for a Client Engagement Assistant in the New York office. The Client Engagement Assistant will assist the billing team with meeting deadlines for client deliverables. This includes review of invoices submitted by vendors, review internal and external disbursements, assist with pulling client’s invoice comments and requested reductions. The Client Engagement Assistant will also be tasked with updating and maintaining vendor specific engagement documents and protocols. The candidate must be able to handle moving deadlines, prioritize projects, have strong communication and time management skills. This part-time role will work 20 hours per week.

The expected annual salary for this position ranges from $35 – 40/hour. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to experience level, education/training, and relevant skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Proforma review to identify and amend time entries to meet client requirements.
- Maintain vendor folders and tracking documentation detailing contract specific requirements, payments to date, copies of invoices and related communications, and other relevant information.
- Maintain folders with client and vendor communications.
- Review comments submitted by client to firm and vendor invoices, pull flagged time entries for further review.
- Other duties as requested and assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Technical, language, mathematical, reasoning skills
- Proficiency in Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel), Teams
- Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented, with excellent organizational and time management skills to meet constantly changing deadlines.
- Ability to strictly maintain high confidentiality while working with internal firm and client data.
- Interpersonal communication skills necessary in order to maintain effective relationships with partners, attorneys, clients, and team members in person, by email and telephone.
- Prior experience in a professional service organization is preferred.
