As a member of the Financial Aid Payment Office, Education and Training Department, is responsible for managing the procurement process and maintaining relationships with vendors, particularly those providing educational and training materials, services, and technologies. This role involves negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with institutional policies, and managing the delivery and performance of educational and training vendors. The coordinator will collaborate with internal departments to ensure that vendor services meet educational standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant. However, employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information, unless the disclosure is (a) in response to a formal complaint or charge, (b) in furtherance of an investigation, proceeding, hearing, or action, including an investigation conducted by the employer, or (c) consistent with the contractor’s legal duty to furnish information. 41 CFR 60-1.35(c)
- At least 5 years of experience in working with or employed in career training or vocational education schools. Understand the job market and the demand for skilled trades and employable markets.

- Communicate via mass communication to vendors for updates.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of educational standards, materials, and technologies is a plus.
- Able to communicate effectively and represent the department in a professional manner.
- Familiarity with contract law, compliance, and risk management practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to analyze data and create reports using Excel or similar tools.
