What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician - Charleroi position at Bakery Barn?
Job Summary:
· Be a constant Quality representative on the production floor
· Ensure that all employees are practicing cGMPs
· Audit the production line and facility
Shift Hours (3-day, 12-hour Shifts):
Wed-Fri: 5am-5pm
Responsibilities/Duties:
· Conduct internal audits of production line(s), warehouses, and other applicable areas
· Perform analytical testing such as water activity and gluten testing
· Inspect packaged product and labels
· Perform and monitor line clearance after every lot
· Ensure production is following all production guides
· Monitor GMP compliance of employees and make corrections when necessary
· Communicate all major food safety and quality issues to Quality Managers or above
Qualifications (include education, experience, specialized skills/knowledge, certifications required):
· High school diploma
· At least 1 year working in a manufacturing environment similar to Bakery Barn, LLC.
Physical Environment:
This position is in a manufacturing facility and involves standing, lifting, bending and walking for extended periods throughout the day. You may be working with the following allergens on a daily basis: Peanuts, Tree Nuts, Milk, Eggs, Soy, Wheat, and Fish.
