What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Coordinator position at BALANCE AUTISM?
Balance Autism has an immediate opening for a Program Coordinator in our Adult Community Services program located in Altoona, Iowa. We are seeking a dedicated, creative individual interested in being a leader at our organization; someone who is detailed oriented, has good organizational skills, is self-directed, has the ability to adapt to new situations, and communicates effectively both verbally and in written format.
This position is responsible for coordinating services, chairing interdisciplinary team meetings, program development, monitoring/evaluating each individual's progress, and training staff.
What You'll Do:
- In collaboration with Admissions, Identifies new and appropriate individuals to serve
- Development of program plan, monitoring, review, and implementation
- Assures proper training of individualized programs for ACS staff
- Works collaboratively with the ACS Directors and Managers to ensure programs are individualized, implemented, and documented
- Reviews and monitors programs and program data to ensure timely revisions are made to the program plan

Requirements:
- Education and/or Experience: Fifth-year college or university program certificate; or Bachelor degree with one year's related experience in Human Services; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
- Ability to complete background check and Tb/drug tests
- Ability to serve on-call and help provide staff coverage for sites on caseload as needed
- Microsoft Office Proficient
