Our team is growing! Balance Marketing Group (BMG) is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Account Manager to join our expanding Accounts Team. As an Account Manager at Balance Marketing Group, you'll act as a strategic partner to our clients—guiding them through the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns. You’ll collaborate closely with internal creative, media, and digital teams to translate client goals into actionable strategies and measurable results.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on goals and deliverables
- Lead the development of strategic marketing plans that align with client objectives, timelines, and budgets
- Translate high-level goals into actionable tactics across digital, legacy, and content channels
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute campaigns, manage project timelines, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards
- Facilitate regular client status meetings and planning sessions to keep initiatives on track
- Draft and manage creative briefs, media plans, campaign calendars, and performance reports
- Monitor marketing performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization
- Stay informed on client industries, competitive landscapes, and emerging marketing trends
- Ensure brand consistency and campaign continuity across all platforms and touchpoints
You’re a self-starter with strong organizational instincts and a passion for helping clients succeed. You’re comfortable managing multiple deadlines, collaborating with diverse teams, and navigating shifting priorities with grace and professionalism.
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Background or understanding of:
- Brand management & strategic marketing
- Digital media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, automation, and social
- Web, print, and broadcast media
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Keen attention to detail and quality assurance
- Experience drafting briefs, reports, and client-facing documentation
- High accountability and a collaborative mindset
- Curiosity and a desire to continually learn and grow
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year) in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- A minimum 2 years of professional experience in account or project management (agency experience preferred but not required)
- Experience using project management software a plus
- Ability to travel to client locations as needed (regional travel)
