Our client is seeking a Construction Project Manager/ Estimator in Atwater, CA.
They are proud to be a full-service industrial contractor for all Agricultural and Food Processing companies around the state of California.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, and budget.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Budget and Schedule Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams, including site supervisors, subcontractors, and laborers.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and address any team issues promptly.
Quality and Safety Assurance:
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, regulations, and safety codes.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure high standards of workmanship.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or changes promptly.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, including progress, issues, and financials.
Problem-Solving and Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus
- 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
