Job Title : Production Inspector I & II
Type of Role : Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours : 2 : 30 PM - 11 : 00 PM
Location : Phoenix, AZ 85034
Hourly Range : $20 / hr -$23 / hr base pay (BOE) 10% shift differential on 2nd Shift
The Production Inspector is responsible for ensuring that printed circuit boards (PCBs) meet quality standards through inspections, testing, and process monitoring. They ensure products are functional, defect-free, and compliant with industry standards.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Inspect PCBs visually and electrically for defects.
- Conduct tests like continuity, in-circuit testing (ICT), and automated optical inspection (AOI).
- Use X-ray or non-destructive testing for internal inspection.
- Ensure PCBs meet industry standards (IPC-A-600, IPC-2221).
- Verify materials used are compliant with regulatory standards.
- Identify process improvements to reduce defects.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues.
- Maintain inspection and test records.
- Prepare reports on PCB quality and defects.
- Investigate defects and recommend corrective actions through MRB (Material Review Board)
- Work in a manufacturing environment with safety protocols in place.
