Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Administrator to support our procurement and supply chain operations. In this role, you will monitor consumable inventory, manage co-manufacturer orders, and maintain accurate tracking within our ERP system. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Monitoring & Order Placement: Track consumable inventory levels and coordinate timely order placement for co-manufacturing materials.
- Order Management: Oversee co-manufacturer orders, ensuring on-time outbound shipments, accurate invoicing, and proper tracking within the ERP system.
- Forecasting & Planning: Work closely with the planning team to provide accurate weekly finished goods forecasts to the co-manufacturer. Generate and submit finished goods orders to logistics coordinators for execution.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Administer monthly reconciliations for contracted ingredients and packaging, comparing contracted prices to purchase prices, and report variances to the finance team.
- Procurement Management: Manage procurement through Coupa, ensuring an adequate pallet supply from approved providers and coordinating with the co-manufacturer to monitor pallet inventory.
- Ingredient Onboarding & Documentation: Support ingredient onboarding and maintain documentation using Asana.
- Contract Management: Track and manage contract balances for co-manufacturer and internal agreements using Excel and SAP.
- Sales Order Processing: Oversee and process sales orders for ingredient and packaging transfers between the organization and co-manufacturers.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with co-manufacturers and suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration and production efficiency.
- Inventory Support: Collaborate with Material Planners and Material Managers to address supply needs and ensure effective inventory management.
- System Utilization: Use Blue Yonder for forecasting and planning activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), Coupa, and Excel.
- Experience with Blue Yonder and Asana is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
