Job Title : Machine Operator II
Type of Role : Contract to Hire
Shift / Hours : Day & 2nd shift available (10% shift differential for 2nd shift)
Location : Phoenix, AZ 85034
Hourly Range : $21 - $23
Under close direction of experienced operators or a Production Team Leader, operates the SMT placement equipment and / or other equipment in order to perform the tasks necessary to manufacture PCBs and / or systems.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Reads and follow assembly prints, work instructions, drawings, procedures and specifications used in the manufacture of PCBs and / or systems
- Responds to written and verbal instructions
- Obtains certifications on assigned equipment
- Maintains a clean work environment and follow all company policies and practices regarding safety and material handling
- Use cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions, and vendor; Recognize all part markings including speed and values (ohms)
- Assists with line changeover
- Identifies feeder by size and type in SMT equipment
- Demonstrates the use of cross-reference tools available to identify part numbers, descriptions and vendor
- Removes hazardous waste at the end of each shift and put in waste storage area, check to see that labels are present and closes containers when not in use
- Continuously maintains a clean machine
- May be involved with hazardous waste handling duties
