Duties
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to specifications.
- Assemble and fabricate parts as needed, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with logic controllers.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during the production process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to Lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, as necessary for material handling.
- Document production data accurately and report any discrepancies or defects.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in injection molding or related fields.
- Familiarity with plastics extrusion processes is a plus.
- Ability to operate lathe machinery for part fabrication when required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math proficiency for measurements and calculations.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
