Work environment:
Food manufacturing facility/ Meat processing location in Center hill, FL
Shifts Available:
Day Shift 6:00 AM to end of production
Night Shift 5:30 PM to 5:00 AM
Job Summary:
Responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the production equipment.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and machines.
Rebuilding, repairing, and replacing equipment, machinery, and parts.
Performing preventative maintenance to ensure proper equipment operation.
Installing equipment, machinery, and parts, and cleaning the area after repairs.
Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems and properly tagging equipment.
Collaborating with management and other departments on maintenance issues.
Examining and testing products from assigned equipment for quality, using gauges and instruments, and recording data.
Checking products for visual defects.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Able to work overtime and weekends.
Able to stand for up to 12 hours, bend, stoop, and lift 75 pounds.
3 or more years of maintenance experience.
Manufacturing environment experience.
Knowledge of electrical systems, controls, refrigeration systems, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
Good communication skills.
