Job Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor / Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and repair of equipment in a manufacturing facility and overall facilities to support optimal operations within the organization.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
- Fabricate parts when necessary
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for specialized repairs
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory
- Conduct facilities maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Work with logic controllers and read electrical schematics
Skills
- Experience leading a team
-Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment efficiently
- Ability to fabricate parts as needed for repairs
- Experience supervising contractors and coordinating maintenance activities
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Familiarity with logic controllers and ability to interpret electrical schematics
- Leadership skills to guide maintenance teams effectively
- Strong customer service orientation to address maintenance issues promptly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
