Schedule: Monday–Thursday: 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Start Date: As soon as possible
End Date: End of the school year
Job Description:
A family in King of Prussia is seeking a reliable, patient, and engaging caregiver to provide consistent after-school care for their child. The ideal candidate will foster a structured and calm environment while integrating play and social skill-building into daily interactions.
Responsibilities:
- Transport the child to therapy appointments and/or playdates (must have reliable
transportation).
- Prepare dinner and assist with the evening routine.
- Engage in imaginative, screen-free play, balancing active and calming activities.
- Support the child in developing social skills.
- Provide a consistent and loving presence to help the child feel safe and build a strong,
trusting relationship.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, particularly in structured, relationship-focused
environments.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- A calm and patient demeanor with the ability to maintain an organized and
low-stimulation environment.
- Availability during the specified hours and flexibility for occasional schedule adjustments if needed.
Compensation:
Pay Rate: $25 per hour, based on experience. Mileage reimbursement.
