Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate various landscaping and groundskeeping projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of landscape and enhancement construction. This role is crucial in ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all aspects of construction projects related to landscaping and groundskeeping.
- Maintain high standards of landscape maintenance, ensuring the health and aesthetics of plants, lawns, and trees.
- Knowledge of drainage installation and repairs.
- Ability to simultaneously manage 4-5 crews.
- Coordinate with team members to build and enhance landscapes according to project specifications.
- Provide leadership and direction to staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards with ability to train new members.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field, particularly in landscaping or groundskeeping.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high morale among staff members.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools is a plus, Excel, Word and a familiarity with Aspire.
