Responsibilities
- Manage patient appointments and scheduling using electronic health record systems
- Maintain and organize patient files, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality standards.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and healthcare providers professionally and courteously.
- Assist with the management of office supplies and equipment to ensure a well-functioning clinic environment.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate efficient patient flow and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately into computerized systems, ensuring up-to-date information is available for all patients and staff.
Experience
- Previous experience in an office or clinic setting is preferred, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Proficient in using phone systems and office management software to streamline operations effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with patients and staff members.
