About the Job
Balchem Corporation seeks a highly motivated and organized Manufacturing Assistant to support our team in the production of dry finished powder products. As a Manufacturing Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the assembly, operation, and maintenance of equipment, as well as performing quality control checks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Support other Production areas with tasks required.
- Understand and maintain the HACCP program in detail.
- Follow proper blending instructions provided in the batch ticket sheets supplied by management.
- Maintain records including computer, sanitation, pre-op, and batch tickets.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- 0-3 years of manufacturing/production experience desired.
- Basic math, reading & writing competency is required.
- Ability to operate a forklift truck.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds unassisted.
- Valid driver's license for forklift license.
