Position Summary :
As an industry leader in wholesale, retail, and residential food distribution, Baldor Specialty Foods continues to grow and evolve at a rapid pace across all departments. Seafood Processors are employees tasked with the job of processing and refining raw materials to finished goods. Tasks include but are not limited to : sorting and inspecting multiple types of seafood, receiving seafood, carrying heavy volumes of product, working in a refrigerated and wet environment, pin-boning and filleting fish, and others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Package, weigh and label product
- Place product into freezers
- Discard incidental fish and fish that cannot be processed.
- Place the fish correctly into the designated slots
- Inspect the product to ensure that it conforms to established quality control guidelines.
- Place frozen, product into totes and bins
- Operate and clean factory equipment
- Load and unload product from the delivery truck
