We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team as Food Service Coordinators. As a key member of our Child Nutrition Program, you will play a critical role in providing healthy, nutritious meals to our students and supporting their academic success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement the local school Child Nutrition Program (CNP) in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
- Prepare and serve healthy meals to students, staff, and visitors, following approved menus and recipes.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices to maintain a safe and clean kitchen environment.
- Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, ordering and receiving materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication with supervisors, staff, and parents.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as facilities and transportation, to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year of experience in food service, customer service, or a related field.
- Knowledge of food safety, nutrition, and meal planning principles.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and move freely in the kitchen.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
