About the Job:
This educator position is responsible for providing an educational environment in which students succeed academically, socially, and physically. The ideal candidate will implement an effective educational program, serve as a student advocate, and be a professional resource for parents and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum specific to the needs of students
- Use technology to plan and provide instruction and facilitate student learning
- Model appropriate and innovative use of technology for students
- Maintain appropriate student supervision so that students have a safe and orderly environment in which to learn
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Valid Alabama teaching certificate in the grade level, subject area(s) assigned
Working Conditions:
- Nine, ten, eleven or twelve-month position in accordance with the Board's salary schedule
Evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the State Department of Education and/or Baldwin County Board of Education policy on evaluation of certified personnel
