What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Project Manager position at Baldwin Group Colleague, Inc.?
The Project Manager, Facilities & Operations is responsible to ensure the efficient delivery of Facility specific services as required, and manages project teams to execute Facility improvements, moves and opening/closures/consolidations. Between 25%-50% travel expected to oversee projects within their geographical area.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partners with functional Manager of Facilities & Operations around assigned projects, managing from inception to conclusion.
Makes recommendations and implements approved organization-wide policies impacting operations that are consistent with business needs and culture
Organizes and prioritizes value driven operational projects, in conjunction with the functional Manager of Facilities & Operations, and drives them to timely completion
Assists in the definition of project scope, budget, and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and technical feasibility
Reviews and analyzes operational responsibilities, timelines, and stakeholders to focus on long term success
Performs risk management to minimize and forecast project risks
Establishes and maintains a relationship with third parties/vendors
Manages and recommends changes to project scope, project schedule and project costs as needed and communicates to leadership as required
Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps to document needs as required
Maintains a project portfolio including a breakdown of each initiative and how they line up from a priority perspective using our Project Management tool
Measures project performance and results using appropriate tools and techniques
Performs other related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Excellent organizational skills with high detail is required
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and connect with multiple levels of leadership, inside and outside the Firm, is required
Excellent diplomatic communication skills, verbal and written, that are clear, quick and concise is required. Comfortable communicating across various stakeholder groups from vendors, to office leaders, to business leaders.
Experience with managing projects on their own and leading project teams is required
Experience with facilities, project or real estate management is highly preferred
Multi-site oversight experience is preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with people at all job levels and relay information in legible reports to leadership
Demonstrated ability to understand and evaluate problems and present solutions
Excellent presentation skills in order to effectively describe an initiative or process
Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
Ability to understand the internal climate of the organization, define the most productive channels of communication, and uses such channels to achieve goals and objectives
Demonstrates the organization’s core values, exuding behavior that is aligned with the firm’s culture
TECHNICAL, COMPUTER, AND SYSTEM-SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Proficiency in project management software tools such as Monday.com
Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software system used by the firm as necessary
