Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, guiding them through their vehicle service needs and ensuring a seamless experience. Your expertise in automotive service and diagnostics will help customers make informed decisions about their vehicle maintenance and repair options.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assess their automotive service needs.
- Provide detailed explanations of services, including oil changes, vehicle maintenance, air brake inspections, shocks and struts replacements, and auto body repairs.
- Utilize automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Schedule service appointments and manage customer follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with technicians to communicate customer concerns and relay necessary information regarding repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and recommendations.
- Upsell additional services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
Skills
- Strong understanding of automotive service processes, including diagnostics and repair techniques.
- Familiarity with dealership environments and automotive sales practices is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns efficiently.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices, including oil changes and routine inspections.
- Experience with air brake systems, shocks, struts, and general auto body repair is a plus.

Education/Experience
- Service Advisor certification in Subarunet within 90 days of placement in the role
- At least 2 years of interacting with the public in a professional manner
