Baldwin Supply Company is the leading distributor of conveyor belting, mechanical power transmission, electric motors and control products in the upper Midwest. We are searching for an experienced Journeyman/Foreman Conveyor Belt Technician with supervisory skills to work out of our Hibbing branch in Northern Minnesota. The Hibbing, Minnesota area, which is known for being a tight-knit community, surrounded by beautiful scenery and lakes, and a place where you can have an active outdoor lifestyle!
Our Conveyer Belt Technicians perform various tasks involved in the fabrication and installation, maintenance and repair of conveyor belting systems. They work at customer mine sites and in our Hibbing shop. Due to the nature of our client’s hours of operations, our Conveyer Belt Technicians must be available for occasional on-call rotation for nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer locations to install, maintain and repair conveyor belts to specification
- Supervise and mentor junior technicians
- Provide exceptional service to all customers.
- Operate equipment in the shop to complete work orders
- Communicate internally and externally about the status of all jobs
- Work well with others on the team
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures

- Must have 5 years of conveyor belting experience, with some supervisory experience
- Leadership acumen and the ability to mentor junior technicians
- Skilled with hand and power tools and have a mechanical aptitude
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Possess a professional demeanor
- Ability to build relationships and work well with others
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Must have basic math skills
- Ability to regularly lift up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work an on-call rotation for nights and weekends
- Ability to travel to customer sites and work off-site
- Ability to work outdoors, as needed
- Must be willing to join union and pay union dues
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check and drug test
