Benefits Specialist / Human Resources Coordinator
Provides day-to-day administration of employee benefits function, as well as general administrative and data-related support to human resources function. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities :
Benefits Administration
- Manages annual open enrollment process, including communication, coordination with our partner vendors and training faculty and staff.
- Plans and guides the annual open enrollment set up in ADP and partner with broker to enable benefits portal.
- Working in tandem with Financial Aid to process all tuition remission approvals for the University.
- Oversees the administration of the TIAA retirement plan, including assisting employees with enrollment, coordinating with TIAA representatives, and addressing employee inquiries.
- Prepare monthly billing for retiree U 65 Health and all retiree dental benefit billing and administration and oversight for those on the program.
- Entry of all deductions for benefits into the ADP HRIS system and maintenance of the ADP benefits file feed system.
- In partnership with HR Director, coordinates and conducts benefits orientation for all new full-time employees.
- Coordinates annual training and informational programs on a variety of topics including Healthcare, Social Security, Medicare, Retirement Plans, and Employment related topics.
- Provide oversight and management for the annual pension audit.
- Manages STD, LTD, Leaves of absence, FMLA, Maternity and Paternity Leaves.
