This course is designed to introduce students to the history and culture of cinema, television, documentaries, and new media and develop the skills and practices in various aspects of film and television production. The four stages of video production will be covered including the Development, Pre-production, Production, and Post-Production tasks. Topics include the fundamental aspects of storyboarding, scriptwriting, camera operation, lighting, audio recording, video editing, and using aesthetic elements and techniques.

Pay: $45.55 - $62.32 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
