Summary:
Oversees On-Premise Balkan Beverage sales area. Generates new customers by cold calling on customer accounts. Major objectives are to increase market size; promote new product lines; demonstrate products to new and existing customers; coordinate with salesmen and supervisors; and resolve customer complaints. Uses personal relationships to develop a positive image of the Company by performing the following duties:
Essential Functions (must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation):
Advises, coordinates, and supports selling efforts of Balkan Sales personnel and Try-It Distributings On Premise sales team with respect to Balkan Beverage products.
Conducts and coordinates meetings with suppliers and sales staff from both Balkan Beverage and Try-It Distributing.
Coaches, develops, sets goals and evaluates ASMs.
Researches potential new accounts and advises sales team to make cold calls.
Cold call on new accounts to generate new customers to sell the Companys products.
Is knowledgeable in marketing and merchandising policy and procedures of suppliers for their brands.
Promotes new brands, products and packages to decision makers.
Oversees the activities of the Regional Business Development Supervisors and evaluates their performance.
Coordinate with Balkan Beverage Sales Reps and Area Managers to effectively execute Company sales goals.
Set up and coordinate events to promote existing brands or new products.
Generates reports on sales figures for the Vice President and Sales Manager.
Investigates and resolves customer complaints and problems.
Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
Maintain supplier relationships and communication to support brands.
Implement and executes sales expectations as directed by the Vice President.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience: Some college coursework, four year degree preferred
Three years related sales or retail on premise experience and/or training.
Must have a valid drivers license with a good record and access to a reliable vehicle.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Mathematical Skills: ability to add. Subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move from 50 up to 250 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance and color vision.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
