We are seeking an Executive Assistant to work directly with our CEO and allow him to focus on high-value projects rather than detail management. This role is ideal for someone who loves to keep the details straight, look ahead to remove potential logistical bottlenecks, and share in the adventure of working with leadership at a small, but rapidly growing company. The EA will have a wide range of responsibilities including administrative support, calendar and inbox management, research, team communication, and more — all with the goal of recapturing time and energy for the CEO. Schedule: Full-time exempt, Monday–Friday, periodic weekend hours as the need arises
Pay: $55,000 – $75,000 salary per year

Location: Hybrid — In-person in Ypsilanti, MI with ability to add work from home as systems are established
Responsibilities and Duties
Current responsibilities will include the below, but the Executive Assistant role will require adaptability to evolving business needs:
- Manage CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and optimize time for focus and strategic work
- Organize and respond to email and communication on behalf of the CEO, prioritizing key information
- Take initiative on administrative tasks and special projects to support leadership and reduce friction
- Anticipate needs and solve problems independently before they escalate
- Assist with research and development projects to increase speed of innovation in tandem with the CEO and executive team
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure team alignment and smooth day-to-day operations
Qualifications
- 2-5 years experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role preferred
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and implement new tools quickly
- Self-starter with a mindset of ownership and initiative
- Motivated learner with a growth mindset who thrives in startup environments
- Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) principles is a plus
