Job Summary
The Shop/Building Maintenance Worker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our entire facility (indoor and outdoor). This includes keeping the shop clean and orderly.
Responsibilities and Duties
Shop/Building Maintenance responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Emptying trash
- Refilling dispensers
- Keep the building and yard free of debris (loose trash, materials, parts, etc.)
- Cleaning and sweeping floors
- Re-ordering supplies as needed
- Cleaning break areas and drivers lounge
- Keep shop bays clean and free of debris (loose trash, materials, parts, etc.)
- Assist technicians with moving parts around and to/from the parts dept.
- Go to vendors to pickup parts and supplies
Qualifications and Skills
Shop/Building Maintenance job requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Have excellent communication skills and be willing to work as part of a team
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
- Prolonged periods of standing or walking
