What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director Events - Soccer position at Baller League?
Baller League is an innovative six-a-side indoor football competition that originated in Germany in 2024 and expanded to the United Kingdom in 2025.
Responsibilities
- Lead the event team in the US by managing the research, identification, strategy, and start-to-finish execution of all events.
- Clearly articulate Baller League brand vision from event ideation through completion internally and with third party production vendors to create best-in-class experiences that bring joy to fans.
- Strong cross-functional collaborator who will work across all divisions under Baller League to meet organization priorities and achieve wider business goals.
- Have deep knowledge and understanding of Miami event landscape (venue, production...)
- Lead the strategic approach and communications for talent, executive and guest relations for all events.
- Clearly develop and track measurable event KPI’s and OKR’s.
- Bring extensive relationships with event production teams and with key industry people, politics, , venues and more.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience over a number of years in an Events specific role and/or marketing role with extensive Events experience.
- Proven management experience over a period of time, including managing full-time contractors and multiple agency partners.
- Strong experience in executing a wide variety of large budget consumer experiences in the tech landscape.
- Proven history of collaborating across multiple disciplines to meet campaign event goals (marketing, b2b, creative, social, product, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
- Event experience in Miami a plus.
- Ability to create and present leadership facing decks, presentations, budgets, run of show documents, etc.
- Ability to communicate clearly while operating in a fast-paced environment.
