Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (“Queen”), the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states, one of which will be an additional state that expands Bally’s jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees, and operations that currently include approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms to the Bally’s portfolio. Bally’s will also become the successor of Queen’s significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
The Role:
- If a Licensed EMT, provides EMT Services to Patrons and Team Members as necessary and within the parameters mandated by State Regulations.
- Enforces company policies/procedures as they apply to the Internal Controls & Indiana Gaming Commission rules/ regulations.
- Prepares reports and Security logs, dispatches Security Officers to assignments as required.
- Monitors fire alarm systems, dispatches appropriate internal contacts and external agencies.
- Escorts cheques, tokens, cash, and patrons as directed.
- Collects and transports drop boxes to the storage / holding area.
- Administers first aid when required.
- Fulfill station bill requirements when required.
- Reports all designated activities to the Supervisor/appropriate authority.
- Must be able to patrol the perimeter and entire property.
- May be required to ride a mountain bike style bicycle for a sustained period of time (1–2-hour intervals throughout an 8-hour shift).
- Knowledgeable of the Indiana Gaming regulations as well as the company’s internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.; and be able to push, pull, grasp, reach, stoop, bend, twist and climb up and down stairs.
- Must be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions.
- Must be able to work in an environment with secondhand smoke, loud noises, and large crowds.
- Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Frequently required to sit and occasionally climb, balance, stoop or kneel.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolong periods of time (7 hours).
- Always follow the Company Service Standards model.
- Must be available for regularly scheduled work and be able to work a variety of hours, holidays, and weekends.
- Other duties may be assigned at any time.
Responsibilities:
Directly supervises officers/EMTs in the Security Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training officers; planning, assigning, and directing work of officers.
