Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (“Queen”), the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states, one of which will be an additional state that expands Bally’s jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees, and operations that currently include approximately 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms to the Bally’s portfolio. Bally’s will also become the successor of Queen’s significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
The Role: Supervisor - Cage
Responsibilities:
- Performs all the duties and operating procedures as all department cashiers.
- Completes timely evaluations for subordinates
- Rewards and recognizes superior performers
- Ensures that employees work safely and follow all safety rules
- Supervises overall staff performance as it pertains to cage departmental procedures and compliance with Delaware Gaming Enforcement on assigned shift.
- Performs all administrative duties necessary for the efficient operation of the shift.
- Oversees schedules for cage department employees.
- Maintains departmental personnel records and daily log.
- Investigates customer complaints. Tries to resolve the situation.
- Assures that customer service standards are exceeded at all times and that all operations personnel are committed to excellence in the performance of their assigned duties.
- Assures that all cashiers openings/closing on their assigned shift are performed accurately, expeditiously and smoothly.
- Responsible for the timely implementation of all procedural changes.
- Recommends remedial training for cashiers as necessary.
- Conducts formal and informal coaching and counseling with subordinates. Runs all corrective counseling action by the Cage Director for approval.
- Ensures that all equipment is in good working order.
- Implements and evaluates new programs designed to improve daily operations.
- Interacts with employees during their assigned shift to assure that the team is always pleasant while being efficient and effective.
- Acts within scope of authority and consistent with company and corporate objectives, guidelines, policies and practices.
- Interviews, selects, hires and retains superior employees
- Conducts formal and informal training for subordinates
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred
- Must possess good math skills
- Must possess computer proficiency with Microsoft Word
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills
- Must possess good customer service and leadership skills
- Must be able to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations
- Must present an overall professional appearance
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as scheduled
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check and receive a license from the DE Lottery
- Two years minimum supervisory experience is required.
- Ability to logically and independently plan, organize, and complete work; initiative; well-developed inter-personal skills;
- Ability to make progress on multiple assignments under time constraints.
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
- Must be able to speak, read and write English

Target Salary Range: $22.00/hr
