Ballygar AI is seeking a mid-level or senior Army Intelligence Staff Officer to support the Army G-2 with daily intelligence briefings and meeting preparation. The Staff Officer will additionally shape the future of Army intelligence by supporting the Army G-2 Directorate of Plans and Integration in designing future Army Intelligence forces as an Army Intelligence Operations SME at wargames and exercises.
Responsibilities: The Staff Officer will be responsible for developing, consolidating, and presenting daily briefings to the Army G-2 on current intelligence and will be responsible for preparing the Army G-2 for a variety of daily briefings. As a secondary task, the Staff Officer will be responsible for designing future Army Intelligence forces as an Army Intelligence Operations SME at wargames and exercises. Day to day, the Analyst will execute and on occasion, lead research, analysis, and evaluation efforts as well as studies, analyses, assessments, and technical reports, as well as provide mid- to high-level analytical assessments and advice on complex issues.
- Conducts research and drafts executive summaries, presentations, information papers, and decision papers for senior Position Description / Qualifications Leadership
- Prepares and presents briefings to senior leaders and other ARSTAF action officers
- Attends meetings and symposia at the ARSTAF and DOD level
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s Degree; Senior Service College graduate; advanced intelligence discipline training; or other equivalent DoD or service Intelligence experience
- Fourteen (14) years of experience as an Army Intelligence analyst with experience from tactical to strategic
- Staff action officer experience at HQDA (DCS, G-2 preferred), Joint (J-2 preferred), or OSD (OUSD (I) preferred) or a closely related DOD organization/agency
- Experience in OSD and TRADOC wargames and exercises
- Strong knowledge of Army MI systems capabilities and employment; Army PPBE, JCIDS, Acquisition and TAA processes; and roles, missions and functions of Intelligence organizations, TRADOC and Joint organizations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Combat deployment experience as an Intelligence Officer
- Master’s Degree
- Army War College graduate
