OVERVIEW:
This Reservations Manager is an ambassador of Ballyhoo Hospitality! They drive memorable and genuine guest connections at all Ballyhoo locations while being the main point of contact for our VIPs and investors. They recruit, train and develop our host team, coaching them in real time on how to take risks while successfully running the door. The Reservations Manager is an expert in Resy.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- These job functions include but are not limited to the following duties, additional duties may be assigned
- Drive memorable guest connections
- Act as main point of contact for VIPs, Investors & Restaurant Partners
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, and quality through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Recruit, train, and develop hosts for the company
- Host bi-weekly reservations managers meetings to discuss development topics and promote collaboration
- Own & drive covers daily at each location
- Complete weekly assignments as designated
- Train in varying positions in Ballyhoo Hospitality
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry.
- Must have a working knowledge of restaurant management and operations.
- 2-3 years of culinary & wine experience, preferably in an upscale dining environment
- Excellent communication and organization skills. Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with a variety of business partners.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel (Advanced ability), PowerPoint
- Fluency in Reservations Systems- Resy preferred
Compensation details:
We offer competitive pay, medical, dental, and vision insurance to full time employees, and 401(k) with generous employer match to all employees! Managers's schedules follow a five-day workweek with two consecutive days off each week.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
