We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Fertilization Specialist to join our growing team.
Job Description:
As a Lawn Fertilization Specialist, you will be responsible for applying fertilizers and soil treatments to residential and commercial properties, ensuring healthy and beautiful lawns. You’ll work directly with customers to understand their lawn care needs, apply treatments effectively, and maintain a high standard of service.
Responsibilities:
- Apply fertilizers and soil treatments to lawns based on industry best practices and customer needs
- Monitor lawn conditions and make recommendations for additional services, such as pest control or aeration
- Maintain equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working order
- Ensure all safety and environmental guidelines are followed when handling and applying chemicals
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and offering advice to clients
- Keep accurate records of services performed, materials used, and any follow-up required
- Assist with other lawn care services as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in lawn care, horticulture, or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of fertilizers, soil health, and plant care
- Ability to operate and maintain lawn care equipment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to get Wisconsin Pesticide Applicators License within the first year of employment
