Job Description:
The Baltimore Orioles seek a Public Relations Game Day Intern to assist the Communications department on game days during the 2025 season. This is a paid internship.
Responsibilities:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide support during Baltimore Orioles home games at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
- Assist with printing and distributing gameday materials, including credentials and other necessary documentation.
- Support the Player and Family Relations Coordinator with various tasks as needed.
- Copy and distribute all gameday materials throughout the ballpark.
- Assist with press box setup and maintenance, including upkeep of the PR workroom.
- Distribute credentials to media members and help coordinate their media-related needs.
- Assist with press box duties as required.
- Escort special guests and assist with events when necessary.
- Other various gameday-related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
- College student, or individual, pursuing a career in Public Relations, Communications, Sports, or a related field.
- Outgoing personality with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences, including media, fans, the general public, and players.
- Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the season, with potential for Postseason work.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign is preferred.
- Prior experience with a sports team or college sports information department is a plus.
- Experience working games is a plus.

The anticipated hourly rate for this role is $15/hour.
