Role overview
The Risk Technology team is looking for an exceptional UI Engineer with some backend experience to develop a suite of risk applications used by the Risk department, with the aim of unifying them in a cohesive Risk Portal.
The engineer will be responsible for building the UI framework in a flexible manner that will allow for easy addition of new features and a consistent look-and-feel.
The engineer will need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to leverage their experience to build the best-in-class solutions. This person will need to be a very strong communicator, able to multi-task, and build lasting technology that requires minimal support.
Qualification
- 5 years UI development experience
- Deep expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Ability to work across the entire application stack, including database, middleware, and UI
- Experience in an object orientated programming language such as C# (preferred), C , or Java, a plus
- Large scale data and database experience, a plus
- Self-starter who can work independently and be able to drive a project from inception through delivery
- Degree(s) in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or closely related field
